Bridie O’Brien is an Australian artist whose bold oil paintings explore the profound connection between humanity and nature. Raised on a farm in rural New South Wales, Bridie’s work reflects a deep bond with the landscapes that have shaped her life.

A lifelong musician, she toured internationally—busking in Scotland, living on a remote Caribbean island, and performing as lead guitarist for Do-Ré-Mi. These global adventures continue to inform her dynamic palette and expressive style, which blends abstract realism and contemporary impressionism.

Her paintings, often inspired by her travels and solitary explorations of the Australian wilderness, have been exhibited internationally and recognized as finalists in prestigious awards, including The Paddington Art Prize and The Lethbridge Landscape Prize.
